Question About Zanussi Dishwasher DE 6850
Water not heating & machine not drying...

This would appear to be a known problem. Machine is 4 years old and trouble free to-date. Requesting access to technical manual to identify errant part and contact details for part supplier in either Mayo or Dublin, Ireland. Thank you, Brendan Graham

4 Paul, Sorry for taking so long to revert - issues with my owneriq logon!! The solution was to replace the main control panel which is housed on the top RHS of the appliance door. This contains the relay that controls the switching of the element which both heats the water and dries the dishes. If your machine is less that 5 years old ,and you can get proof of purchase, the part is covered under warranty but you will still have to pay the call-out charge (€70 in my case) and the part was fitted within the 30mintes that that charge covers. You will have to go through service.eid@electrolux.ie and allow sufficient time between the call and the proposed repair date for the part to be imported c 3-5 days. I found that the price of the part to buy and self fit was both widely varying and prohibitive. Good luck - if you have not already had the repair completed.
