7. CONNECT DECORATIVE FLUE TO HOOD (OPTIONAL)
AEWPD Series
From inside the hood, attach flue to top of hood at sides and front of hood
using #8-32 x 1/2” screws (provided with decorative flue).

6. INSTALL THE HOOD
Lift hood up and onto wood strip. Attatch transition to
10” round duct. Center hood over location and hold it
up against bottom of soffit or flue. Secure hood to
wood strip with provided #8 x 3/4” mounting screws.
Use additional mounting screws (and wall anchors if
necessary) through lower set of holes.

5. INSTALL TRANSITION
Attach transition (provided) to top of hood.
Use duct tape to make all joints secure and airtight.

CAUTION
If this decorative flue is installed in a saline environment
(e.g. coast), rinse all surfaces once a week with clear water,
(even if the hood is not used) and wipe dry completely.
