REVERSING THE DOORS
We recommend that you reverse doors
before switching on for the first time.
Tools required: Small and medium size
flat and cross-headed screwdrivers, a
pair of pliers.
Spare Parts supplied in the plastic
bag: The following parts, which are
exclusively for left hand side fitted
hinge operation are supplied in a
plastic bag with the appliance:
- Upper door top trim hinge covers –
there are 2 different parts, one for each
side of top trim.
- Upper door middle hinge bushing/
door stopper assembly.
We suggest you keep all the parts
supplied in the plastic bag and also
parts, which have been removed when
reversing doors, in a safe place for
possible future, re-use.
IMPORTANT: We suggest you ask
somebody to help you when moving
the appliance around and to hold
doors when removing / re-fitting
hinges and doors to avoid any injury
and damage to the product.
Please refer to diagrams supplied. To
follow numbers in brackets below,
refer to the main diagram.
1. Switch off the appliance at the
socket outlet and pull out the mains
plug.
2 .Remove all food, loose items and
fittings from the appliance and door
shelves.
3. Unscrew the bolts and remove the
middle hinge while holding doors. (1)
4. Remove the freezer door from the
top hinge. (2)
5. Remove the fridge door. (3)
6. Remove the plastic covers on the
front top trim. (4)
7. Unscrew the bolts of the top hinge
and remove top hinge. (5)
8. Reposition plugs on the opposite
side. (6)
9. Remove the kick plate. (7)
10. Carefully tilt the appliance on its
back. (8)
(You may need somebody to help you.)
11. Unscrew and remove the left hand
side front feet. (9)
12. Unscrew and remove the bottom
hinge. (10-11)
13. Unscrew and remove the middle
hinge bushing and metal bracket from
fridge door. (12)
14. Use the metal hinge bushing that is
unscrewed. (13)
15. Screw and fix the new middle
hinge metal bracket which is supplied
in Instruction Booklet bag to the other
side.(14)
16. Reposition the hinge bushing and
the tap on the fridge door. (15)
17. Unscrew and reposition the
bottom hinge bushing. (16)
18. Unscrew bolt of the pin on the
bottom hinge. Fit the pin to the other
hole on the hinge and tighten the bolt
on the new position. (17)
