CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS (continued)

Disconnect appliance from
electric power before
cleaning.

to the touch and may cause
burns. Allow appliance to
cool before cleaning.
IMPORTANT:
DO NOT spill or pour water
into controls, control panel,
wiring or coil-type hotplate
elements. Damage to internal
components will occur.
Damage to internal
components from water
damage is not covered by
warranty.
IMPORTANT:
DO NOT use steel wool or
metal implements to clean
hotplate elements.

PREPARATION
Disconnect appliance from electric power
Allow to cool before cleaning

Daily
TOOLS
Warm water and a mild detergent
Soft clean cloth or sponge
Plastic scouring pad, plastic scraper
CLEANING
Disconnect appliance from electric power
Allow to cool before cleaning
Spiral Hotplate Elements:
Raise elements. Remove and empty drip pans.
Drip pans and element supports may be washed in a sink or
dishwasher. Allow to air dry and reinstall.
Scrape burned-on food debris from element using a plastic scraper
or plastic scouring pad. DO NOT use steel wool or metal
implements to clean elements.
Solid Plate Hotplate Elements:
Scrape burned-on food debris from element using a plastic scraper
or plastic scouring pad. DO NOT use steel wool or metal
implements to clean elements.
Wipe elements and counter top with a clean cloth or sponge
dampened with warm water and a mild detergent. Rinse by wiping
with a clean cloth or sponge dampened with warm water. Allow to
air dry.
Procedure is complete.
