CARE AND CLEANING
Always remove the plug from the power point and allow
the appliance to cool before cleaning.
To remove the toast rack (F), push it and its guides (H) further
into its recesses (G) on one side, then lift the opposite side
clear. You can now clean the rack with a soft, damp cloth
or soapy water. Dry the rack with a soft cloth.
The crumb tray (E) must be emptied regularly, as too many
crumbs constitute a fire hazard. Apply light pressure to
the centre of the crumb tray cover and it will automatically
open. It can now be slid out, emptied and cleaned with a
soft, damp cloth and dried with a soft, dry cloth.
• Wipe the outside of the toaster with a soft, slightly
dampened cloth. Dry it with a soft, dry cloth.
Do not use chemicals, wire wool or abrasives when clean-
ing the outside of the toaster.
Never immerse the toaster in water or any other liquid.
Clean the interior of the appliance by removing any crumbs.
Do not use sharp or pointed utensils when doing so. This
could damage the heating elements.
To replace the toast rack (F), push it and its guides (H) into
its recesses (G) on one side, then press the opposite side
downwards so that it engages.
Slide the crumb tray (E) back into the Toaster. Apply light
pressure to the centre of the crumb tray cover to secure it
in place.
Any other servicing should be performed by an authorized
service representative.
