GARANTIA LIMITADA BROAN DE DOS AÑOS-
VENTILADORES de TECHO TIPO PALETA
Broan garantiza al comprador consumidor original de sus ventiladores
de techo tipo paleta que tales productos estarán libres de defectos en
el material o la mano de obra por un tiempo de dos años a partir de la
fecha de la compra original. NO SE EXTIENDE OTRAS GARANTIAS
EXPRESAS O IMPLICITAS, INCLUSIVE, PERO NO LIMITADAS A,
GARANTIAS IMPLICITAS DE COMERCIALIDAD O IDONEIDAD
PARA UN PROPOSITO PARTICULAR.
Durante estos dos años, Broan, a su opción, reparará o reemplazará,
sin cargo alguno, cualquier producto o parte que se haya encontrado
que es defectuoso bajo empleo y servicio normales.
ESTA GARANTIA NO SE EXTIENDE A ARRANCADORES Y TUBOS
DE LAMPARAS FLUORESCENTES. Esta garantía no cubre (a)
mantenimiento y servicio normales o (b) cualquier producto o parte
sujetos a maltrato, negligencia, accidente, mantenimiento incorrecto
o reparación por otros (no por Broan), instalación incorrecta o contraria
a las instrucciones de instalación recomendadas.
Esta garantía no cubre cambios hechos en el acabado bronceado,
inclusive la herrumbre, picaduras, corrosión, manchas o peladura.
Un cierto grado de bamboleo del ventilador es normal y no debe
considerarse como defecto. Para reducir el bamboleo lea la sección
del libro de instrucciones titulada “Como Equilibrar las Aspas.” Los
pasos que se dan en esa sección deben seguirse cuidadosamente
antes de preparar el producto para devolverlo.
La duración de cualquier garantía implícita queda limitada a dos años
que es el período especificado también para una garantía expresa.
Algunos estados no permiten la limitación de la duración de una
garantía implicita, en cuyo caso la limitación indicada arriba no le
corresponde a Ud.
BROAN NO SERA RESPONSABLE POR DAÑOS INCIDENTALES,
INDIRECTOS O ESPECIALES QUE PUEDAN RESULTAR DE O
TENER RELACION CON EL USO DEL PRODUCTO O SU
FUNCIONAMIENTO. Algunos estados no permiten la exclusión o
limitación de daños incidentales o indirectos en cuyo caso la limitación
o exclusión referidas arriba no le corresponden a Ud.
Esta garantía sustituye a todas las garantías anteriores.
Para calificar para la garantía de servicio Ud. debe (a) notificar a Broan
a la dirección indicada abajo o al teléfono 800-637-1453, (b) dar el
número del modelo y la identificación de la parte y (c) describir la
naturaleza de cualquier defecto en el producto o la parte. Al tiempo
de pedir servicio bajo garantía Ud. debe presentar prueba de la fecha
de la compra original.

BROAN TWO YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY -
PADDLE TYPE CEILING FANS
Broan warrants to the original consumer purchaser of its paddle type
ceiling fans that such products will be free from defects in materials or
workmanship for a period of two years from the date of original
purchase. THERE ARE NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR
IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED
WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A
PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
During this two-year period, Broan will, at its option, repair or replace,
without charge, any product or part which is found to be defective
under normal use and service.
THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT EXTEND TO FLUORESCENT LAMP
STARTERS AND TUBES. This warranty does not cover (a) normal
maintenance and service or (b) any products or parts which have been
subject to misuse, negligence, accident, improper maintenance or
repair (other than by Broan), faulty installation or installation contrary
to recommended installation instructions.
This warranty does not cover any changes in the brass finish, including
rusting, piting, corroding, tranishing or peeling. A certain amount of fan
“wobble” is normal and should not be considered a defect. To reduce
wobble, consult the section in the instruction book entitled “Blade
Balance.” The steps in that section must be followed exactly before
arrangements are made to return the product.
The duration of any implied warranty is limited to the two-year period
as specified for the express warranty. Some states do not allow
limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation
may not apply to you.
BROAN’S OBLIGATION TO REPAIR OR REPLACE, AT BROAN’S
OPTION, SHALL BE THE PURCHASER’S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE
REMEDY UNDER THIS WARRANTY. BROAN SHALL NOT BE
LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL
DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH PRODUCT
USE OR PERFORMANCE. Some states do not allow the exclusion or
limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above
limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have
other rights, which vary from state to state. This warranty supersedes
all prior warranties.
To qualify for warranty service, you must (a) notify Broan at the address
stated below or telephone: 1-800-637-1453, (b) give the model number
and part identification and (c) describe the nature of any defect in the
product or part. At the time of requesting warranty service, you must
present evidence of the original purchase date.
