IMPORTANT SAFETY REGULATIONS
When using electrical appliances the
following basic safety instructions shall be
observed and carefully followed.
- Carefully read through the instructions
and warning texts before using the
machine. This will ensure that you get
the best possible results from your
machine and avoid incorrect use. Save
the instructions for future reference.
- The machine shall only be used in
accordance with the instructions
enclosed.
- When unpacking check that the
machine has not been damaged during
transport. If so, the machine must be
taken to a service workshop before it is
connected.
- Plastic and frigolite are dangerous
packaging materials! They shall be
handed in to an environmental recovery
station.
- Check the label and type designation to
ensure that the voltage and frequency
correspond to the mains.
- Make sure that the switch is switched
off before the machine is plugged in to
the mains.
- Pull out the plug from the wall socket in
the event of thunderstorms.
- Damage to the mains flex increases the
risk for electric shock and fire.
Therefore, always pull the plug out from
the socket by means of the actual plug-
not by the flex or the machine. Never lift
the machine by the flex. The flex shall
never be drawn over sharp edges, or be
exposed to heat or chemicals. Check
that the flex is free from defects. If a
fault is discovered, an authorized
technician shall always replace a
damaged or defective flex.
- Make sure that any extension flexes
used are appropriate for the machine
with respect to operating conditions,
current, type of insulation, and
insulation class.
- Any work carried out shall only be done
by a qualified technician.
- The machine must never be submerged
in water or other liquid, neither during
cleaning or operation.
- Keep the machine under observation
when in use.
- Do not allow children to use the
machine unless under the supervision
of an adult.
- Always pull out the plug from the wall
socket when the machine is in use. If a
fault should occur the machine can start
unintentionally.
- Always pull out the plug from the wall
socket when cleaning the machine.
- Warning for heat and hot surface.
- The machine must not be built-in or
covered. Risk for overheating and fire.
- Make sure that the machine stands
firmly on a stable surface.
- Make sure that defective parts are
repaired, and that the machine’s
operating reliability is maintained, before
it is used.
- Use only original spare parts.
- The rating label is fixed/imprinted on the
unit.
General: This coffee machine must only be
connected to 230V/50 Hz.
Before you use the coffee maker for the
first time . . .
Wash the glass pot and filter holder. Rinse
and dry. Place the glass pot on the coffee
