To Begin Brewing Coffee After the
AUTO Brew Time Has Been Set
1.
Make sure removable water reservoir is filled, correctly positioned and in
place before starting.
2.
Place the gold coffee filter (or paper filter) into the removable filter holder;
add the desired amount of coffee grounds.
3.
At the AUTO programmed time, the coffee maker will turn itself ON
automatically. BREW will appear on the digital display as the coffee maker
begins to heat. Coffee will begin flowing into the carafe.
4.
Thermal Carafe Model HE100CMT: Once the brew cycle is
complete, the coffee maker will turn itself OFF. The thermal carafe can be
removed from the base plate.
5.
Glass Carafe Model HE120CMG: READY will appear on the digital
display when the coffee maker has completed brewing and is in the 2-hour
keep warm mode. After 2 hours, the coffee maker will turn itself OFF.
NOTE: The amount of brewed coffee may be slightly less than the amount
of water placed in the water reservoir, as some of the water is absorbed
by the coffee grounds. IMPORTANT: To cancel the AUTO future brew time,
press the AUTO/CANCEL button.
6. The AUTO feature turns off after brewing. To set for the next day at the
same time, press the AUTO/CANCEL button after loading coffee and
water.

To pour a cup of coffee before the brew cycle is complete, simply remove
the carafe from the base plate/warming plate and pour. Brewing will
continue but dripping will automatically pause.
2.
Return the carafe to the base plate/warming plate within 30 seconds;
dripping will resume.
NOTE: Carafes must be placed and centered onto the base plate/
warming plate the carafe should rest firmly against the auto pause and
serve assembly of the coffee maker.
