4. CLEANING YOUR REFRIGERATO R

When cleaning your
refrigerator, unplug the
power cord and use a
soft cloth and
dishwashing liquid to
c l e a n .
The refrigerator can
smell on its initial
operation, but the odor
will be away when the
refrigerator is cooled
s u f f i c i e n t l y .
Use a soft cloth for
cleaning the interior and
exterior of the
r e f r i g e r a t o r .
Do not splash water
directly on the
refrigerator itself.
Put the parts back to
their original position.
Tu rn the temperature control in the refri g e rator and freezer compart m e n t
t o ward WINTER for colder temperature and toward MIN for wa rm e r
t e m p e ra t u r e .
A l l ow approximately 12 hours or ove r night for the temperature to stabilize,
Then check to see if further adjustments are necessary.
To turn off the refrigerator
Disconnect the power supply cord. Remove ice tray and food. Leav e
d o o r s ajar for air circulation and dehumidification of both sections.
D E F R OSTING THE REFRIGERATO R
It is defrosted automatically in the refrige r a t o r.
To Avoid The Risk of Electrical Shock or Death unplug the power
cord before replacing a burned out light bulb or cleaning.
Cleaning
R e m o ve all food from the freezer and refrigerator sections.
E x t e r i o r : Wash with wa rm, soapy wa t e r , rinse and dry.
Use appliance polish or wax periodically to keep the ex t e r ior looking
l i k e new.
Door gasket : Clean at least twice a year with mild soap and wa t e r. Rinse and dry.
Apply a light film of petroleum jelly to the gaskets to keep them soft.
I n t e r i o r : Wash the liner with wa r m, soapy wa t e r, rinse and dry.
I n t e rior and Exteri o r
1. DO NOT USE abra s i ve, heavy-duty Pow d e r s, etc.
These can scratch and dull the surfa c e, depending on their abra s i ve n e s s
and the cleaning pressure applied.
Avoid metal pads and abra s i ve impregnated plastic, nylon and cloth pads,
e t c .
2. DO NOT USE concentrated liquid dishwashing detergent (dissiove in
wa rm water before using.), abra s i ve cleaners, solvents or polishing agents
on plastic part s . These cleaners may cause cra cking or discolori n g .
