Producing hot water
1. Switch the machine on by turning the selector dial
to the position (the relative light comes on) (g.
4). Wait for the OK light to switch on (g. 7).
2. Position a container under the cappuccino nozzle.
3. When the OK light comes on, turn the selector dial
to the
position (g. 8) and turn the steam dial
anti-clockwise at the same time (g. 16). The hot
water will be delivered from the cappuccino nozzle.
4. To interrupt the hot water, turn the steam dial
clockwise and turn the selector dial to the
position.

Cleaning
Danger!
 

Cleaning and maintenance of the lter
Clean the lter-holder and ground coee lter about
every 300 coees or if the coee drips through the lter-
holder and does not ow unrestricted:

thoroughly using hot water and a brush (g. 22).
Check that the holes in the metal lter are not
blocked. If this is not the case, clean them using a
pin (see g. 23) or when descaling.

gasket as indicated by the arrow in (g. 24).
 

into the hole of the support itself (see arrow g.

The warranty is not valid if the cleaning operations
described above are not performed on a regular basis.
Cleaning the boiler outlet
About every 300 coees the espresso boiler outlet must
be cleaned as follows:
 
the plug is disconnected from the socket;
 
espresso boiler outlet (g. 26);
 
 
 
brush. Check that the holes are not blocked. If this is
not the case, clean them using a pin (g. 23).

Other cleaning operations
1. Do not use solvents or abrasive detergents to clean
the machine. Use a soft, damp cloth.
2. Clean the lter-holder cup, the lters, drip tray and
water tank regularly.
To empty the drip tray, remove the cup warmer grid,
remove the water and clean the tray using a cloth:
then re-assemble the drip tray.
Clean the water tank using a soft bottle-brush in
order to reach the bottom.
Danger!
During cleaning, never immerse the machine in water: it
is an electric appliance.

