Controls and Features
Stainless Steel Hood
Controls
  : Turns both fan and lights
on to default (or user programmed) settings.
Default settings are FAN medium, LIGHT level
2. See below for details on how to program
the control to your preferred settings. If the
hood is in active mode (fan on and/or lamps
on), when the user presses the ON/OFF
button, all functions will be turned o.
  : Pressing the fan decrease (-) button
will step the blower down to the next lower
blower speed, looping in this order: BOOST
HIGH MEDIUM LOW OFF BOOST…
  : Pressing the fan increase (+) button
will step the blower up to the next higher
blower speed, looping in this order: LOW
MEDIUM HIGH BOOST OFF LOW…

 : Pressing the light decrease (-) button
will step the lamp intensity down to the next
lower intensity, looping in this order: Level 4
Level 3 Level 2 Level 1 OFF Level 4…
You have the option of changing the factory
default (or previously programmed) settings for the
 button.
 With all functions off, 
 for 3 seconds. The fan speed will
be on medium and the light intensity will be on
Level 2 (or previously programmed settings).
The hood lamps will blink 3 times. 

2. The control is now in programming mode.
You can set the fan and light settings to your
preferred setting by pressing the 
, and buttons.
You do not have the option of setting
the fan or lights to OFF.

3. When the desired fan and light settings have
been selected, to
store these settings. You have 30 seconds to
complete this task.
 If the control is in programming mode and
30 seconds have passed with no button activity
detected, the control will revert to the last saved fan
and light setting (default or programmed).
Power interruptions will cause the controls to revert
to the factory settings.
To protect the electronics, this hood is equipped
with an  feature that will automatically
turn on the blower or increase the speed if
excessive heat is detected above the cooking
surface.
When the  feature is activated, you may
increase the fan speed but you cannot lower the fan
speed or turn off the blower. The hood will remain in
 mode until temperatures have dropped to
acceptable levels. The fan speed will change to the
original user setting when  is deactivated.
The  feature will always have priority over
the fan speed set by the user.
