Note: There is protective circuitry inside this icemaker
to protect the circuitry from overheating and the
icemaker will automatically shut down to prevent
damage if activated. Please disconnect power cord
and restart after 30 minutes of cooling down time.
Problem Possible Causes Solution
Power LED indicator
will not come on
Plug disconnected from wall
outlet
Check that unit is plugged into
standard 120V, 60 Hz outlet.
Also make sure outlet has
power and circuit breaker is
not tripped.
“Ice Full” LED
indicator is on
Storage compartment is full
Remove ice from storage
compartment via the dispenser
Ice cubes in storage
compartment but
do not come out the
dispenser
Transparent hatch is open
Close hatch securely, resetting
safety switch and reactivating
auger
Auger in ice storage
compartment is blocked
Release ice dispenser paddle,
wait 10 seconds, push ice
dispenser paddle forward
again
“Add Water” LED
indicator is on
Water reservoir is empty or
water level is low
Use provided funnel to add
water to reservoir on side of
unit.
Ice making cycle is
normal but no ice is
made
Ambient temperature or water
temperature inside reservoir is
to high
Operate ice makers at
ambient temperature below
90˚ and pour colder water
into reservoir.
Refrigerant liquid leakage.
Turn power off, unplug unit
and contact a qualified
technician.
Pipe in the cooling system is
blocked.
Turn power off, unplug unit
and contact a qualified
technician.
Solid block of ice
forms on evaporator
Ice dispensing not complete
from storage compartment
Unplug and allow ice to melt
(never use sharp object to
remove ice).
