Before First Use: Wash Ice Chamber and Freezer
Containers in hot, soapy water. Rinse and dry.
1. Unplug Motor Housing from outlet.
2. To remove the Motor Housing for
cleaning, turn upside down. Then,
using a cloth to protect your hands,
grasp the metal disc and turn
counter-clockwise as shown.
3. Wash metal disc and nut in hot, soapy
water. Rinse and dry. Wipe the bottom
of the Motor Housing with damp, soapy cloth, then wipe
dry with a clean cloth.
4. Reattach the metal disc by placing it back onto the motor
housing. Using a cloth to protect your hands, turn the disc
clockwise. Do not immerse Motor Housing in water or
other liquid.
5. Wash Base, Ice Chamber, and Freezer Containers in hot,
soapy water. Rinse and dry.
Cleaning Your Ice Shaver
wWARNING
To reduce risk of personal injury and/or damage to your
ice shaver:
• Never wash ice chamber with shaving blade, or any part of
this appliance, or other removable parts in a dishwasher.
• Always inspect ice chamber with shaving blade before
each use.
• Do not use a cracked, bent or damaged ice chamber.
How to Use Your Ice Shaver
1. Have your preferred ice rounds or ice cubes available.
2. Place Base on countertop. Place bowl, cup, or other
container onto Base platform to hold shaved ice.
3. Fit Ice Chamber into Base by lining up flat sides.
4. Place ice into Ice Chamber. Do not overfill.
5. Place Motor Housing on top of Ice Chamber. Plug into outlet.
6. Push top of Motor Housing to start shaving. Release to
stop shaving. Some ice pieces will remain in Ice Chamber.
7. When finished, unplug ice shaver and clean according to
directions in “Cleaning Your Ice Shaver.”
