Caring for Your Cooler/Warmer
Cleaning
1. Set the power switch to OFF. Unplug the cord from the power
source, then from the back of the unit.
2. Wipe the interior and exterior of the unit with a damp cloth.
Removable shelf and tray may be washed on the top rack of
the dishwasher.
3. Leave door open, with unit turned OFF, to dry the interior.
Moisture from humidity, food, or cleaning may cause mildew or
unpleasant odors.
4. Monthly, clean the exterior vents with a vacuum cleaner or small
brush. Dust build-up on vents can cause poor performance.
5. Condensation may form during times of high humidity and
accumulate in the removable tray at the bottom of the unit.
When this occurs, remove the tray and empty it, then wipe it
dry before reinstalling it.
6. Periodic defrosting of the unit may be necessary when frost
accumulates on interior vents.
To defrost the unit: Turn unit OFF. Leave door open and allow
unit to reach room temperature. Wipe interior of unit with a damp
cloth. Clean removable tray.
