Filling the Hopper
The Ice Shaver/Blender is designed for use with
ice cubes such as those made by most commercial
ice makers or available as bagged ice. Do NOT
attempt to shave large blocks or chunks of ice;
they will not feed properly and can damage the
machine.
The hopper is designed to hold 5 gallons of ice.
1. Remove the ice hopper cover.
2. Pour cubed ice slowly into the hopper. If there
are large clumps mixed in with the cubes, break
them up before putting them in the hopper.
NOTE: Do not overfill the hopper. The ice
hopper cover has a safety interlock and the Ice
Shaver/Blender will not work unless the cover is
seated properly.
wWARNING
Cut Hazard
Do not attempt to operate ice shaver without
cover in place.
Do not put place anything except ice in the
ice hopper.
Failure to follow these instructions can
result in broken bones, cuts or other injuries.
