THE CONTROLS
IMPORTANT
Before using your oven ALWAYS make sure that the timer has
been set to MANUAL operation. Unless this is done, the oven
cannot heat up. Before seeking assistance make sure this is
done (refer to oven timer operation).
To release any control knob simply press its centre.
MULTIFUNCTION SELECTOR
Rotate the control knob in either direction until the required function symbol appears
in the control window. Many of the functions will also require the oven thermostat or
grill control to be set before the appliance will heat up.
After use knobs can be returned to the storage position by pressing in the knob
centre.
OVEN THERMOSTAT
This is used in addition to the multifunction selector. This is used for the functions
(fan oven, fan grill and top and base heat).
Turn the control clockwise to set the oven thermostat to the required temperature.
If the timer is set correctly and the selector switch set to a suitable function an
indicator light will illuminate. This will remain on until the oven reaches the required
temperature. This light will then cycle on and off as the thermostat maintains control
of the oven temperature.
GRILL CONTROL
This is used in addition to the multifunction selector.
This is used for the functions (full grill and half grill).
Turn the control in either direction to the required setting. If the selector switch is set
to either full grill or half grill and the oven door is in its grilling position then the grill
will heat up. After use return all controls to “O” (Off) position.
COOLING FAN
A gentle flow of air will be detected coming from beneath the control panel when
the oven or grill is switched on.
