Surface Burner Bases
The surface burner bases are not removable. Clean with warm soapy water and a
sponge or dishcloth. Burnedon grease can be removed with a householdcleaner, such
asFantastik or 409,and a sponge. Toprevent scratching, do not useabrasive cleaners
or scrubbing pads.
NOTE: Be careful notto spill liquids through the holes in the burner bases.
Porcelain Spillover Bowls
Neverwipe awarm or hotporcelain enamel surface with adamp cloth. For general daily
cleaning and lightsoil, wash with warm soapy water, rinse, and dry. To remove grease
spatters,spray with cleaners such as Fantastik or409. DONOT useabrasive orcaustic
cleaning agents which may permanently damage the finish.
Igniters
If the igniters getdirty or greasy, clean with a toothbrush and warm soapy water. Rinse
and dry thoroughly. DO NOT STRIKE or PRY the ceramic igniter.
Glass Cooktop
The tempered glass cooktop will withstand temperature changes while cooking.
Although impact resistant, treat this glass cooktop with the same care you would any
glass material.
Clean glasscooktop after surface hascooled. Wipewith a clean, damp sponge or cloth.
Rinse and dry thoroughly to prevent a filmy residue. A glass cleaner may be used to
remove smudge marks and stains.
Control Knobs
The knobs on the control panel can be removed with the controls in the OFF position.
Pull eachknob straightfrom the shaft. Wash knobs inwarm soapy water or dishwasher;
donotuse abrasive cleansersor materials. To replace eachknob, match flat partof knob
opening with the flat on the shaft, returning in OFF position.
IMPORTANT: Never use a metal blade to pry knob off. If knob cannot be easily
removed,tuck thefoldsof a clothdishtowel underthe knobskirtand pullthe towel upward
with steady, even pressure.
tMPORTANT" Becareful to replacethe knobs with gentle pressure. Never hitthe knob
on the shaft with your hand or any other object.
NOTE: Whenknobs areremovedfor cleaning, becareful not tospill liquidsthrough holes
in the control area.
