installing Your Freezer
• Thisappliance isdesigned to be free standing only,and should notbe recessed or
built-in.
o Place your freezer on a floor that is strong enoughto support the freezer when it is
fully loaded.
• Allow ,5.9inches(1,5cm) of space between the back and sidesof the freezer, which
allows for the proper air circulation.
• Locate thefreezer away from direct sunlightand sourcesof heat (stove,heater,
radiator, etc.). Direct sunlightmay affect the acrylic coating and heat sourcesmay
increase electrical consumption.The recomended operating ambient temperature
shouldbe between 55°F(12.8°C) and 110°F(43.3 )°C.

Cutthe packaging strap, thentake off the packaging box and the interior protective plastic
bag. Removethe protective foamsoff the freezer and put them insidethe upended
packaging box, uplift the freezer and remove the bottom protective pad under the
freezer.
o After pluggingthe appliance into a wall outlet, allow the unitto cool down for 2-3
hoursbefore placing food inthe freezen
