5. Attach terminal box to the wall and securely tighten screws.
6. Use UL listed wire connectors and connect black wires (B)
together.
7. Use UL listed wire connectors and connect white wires (D)
together.
8. Connect green (or bare) ground wire from home power supply
to the unused green ground screw (E) in the terminal box.
9. Tighten strain relief screws.
10. Install terminal box cover.
11. Check all light bulbs to make sure they are secure in their
sockets.
12. Reconnect power.
Install Chimney Covers
Vented Installation - Style 1
1. Attach the vent system to the damper. Seal all joints with vent
clamp.
2. Remove the plastic covering from the chimney covers.
3. Slide the upper chimney cover over the chimney support and
attach to the top of the support using two screws provided.
4. Slide the lower chimney cover over the chimney support and
the upper cover. Attach to the bottom of the support using
the 2 screws provided.
Non-vented (recirculating) Installation - Style 2
IMPORTANT: For this installation, you will need Charcoal Filter
Kit Part Number 8285507.
1. Remove the plastic covering from the chimney covers.
2. Slide the upper chimney cover over the chimney support and
attach to the top of the support using two screws provided.
3. Place the diverter from the Non-vented (recirculating)
Chimney Kit over the vent motor exhaust outlet and push
down to seat on the outlet.
Check that the diverter exhaust outlets are parallel with the
vent motor sides so that they will align with the vent cover
openings in lower chimney.

D. White wires
E. Green (or bare) ground wire from home power
supply connected to green ground screw
F. Range hood power supply cable
G. Range hood power supply cable connected to
green ground screw

Fire Hazard
Electrically ground the blower.
Use copper wire.
Connect ground wire to green ground screw in
terminal box.
Failure to do so can result in death, fire, or
electrical shock.
