CAUTION
:
Before inserting the battery cartridge into the tool, always check to
see
that the trigger
switch actuates properly and returns to the
"OFF"
position when released.
Sterilization
of
rasp blade, holder and drive shaft
The rasp blade, holder and drive shaft must be sterilized each time the tool
is
used and
between each horse, to prevent the spread or cross infection of any disease, virus,
etc.
They can be sterilized by boiling or in
a
disinfectant (which will not harm the horse's
health) without removing them from the tool. But
it
is
recommended rather that the
sterilization be carried out by
a
suitable sterilizing unit after removal from the tool. In
this
case,
the hex wrench to be used for assembling them also must be sterilized.
CAUTION
:
When sterilizing the rasp blade, holder and drive shaft by boiling or in
a
disinfectant, be
careful not to splash boiling water or disinfectant on your hands, the tool,
etc.
