Please read this instruction manual carefully and
familiarise yourself with your new egg boiler
before using it for the first time.
Please retain this manual for future reference.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety
precautions should always be followed to reduce
the risk of fire, electric shock and/or personal
injury, including the following:
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or
knobs.
- Do not immerse cord, plug or base in water
or other liquid.
- Close supervision is necessary when any
appliance is used by or near children.
- When not in use and before cleaning, be sure
to disconnect the egg boiler by moving plug
from electric outlet. Allow to cool before
putting on or taking off parts, and before
cleaning the egg boiler.
- Do not operate with a damaged cord or plug
or after the malfunctions or if it has been
damaged in any way.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Do not let cord hang over edge of table or
counter or touch hot surfaces.
- Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric
burner or in a heated oven. - Do not use this
egg boiler for other than intended household
use.
- To disconnect, remove plug by gripping plug
body and pulling it from the outlet. Never
yank or twist the cord.
- Always make sure that lid is in place prior to
operation.
- Do not start the unit without water in water
tank.
- Do not fill tank with liquid other than cold
water.
USING YOUR EGG BOILER
- Clean the boiling dish in warm soapy water,
then rinse and dry carefully.
- Place the egg boiler on an even surface.
- Put the eggs you want to boil in the egg-
rack. Use the measuring cup for filling the
boiling dish with cold water.
- Place the egg-rack onto the boiling dish.
- Pierce the rounded end of the egg with the
egg piercer, which is integrated in the egg-
rack. Using the egg piercer prevents the egg
from cracking during boiling.
- Please be very careful when using the egg-
piercer as the needle is very sharp.
- In order to avoid burning, keep your hands
away from the steam vent in the lid.
- When the water tank is empty, the appliance
will buzz. This means that the eggs are ready
and you can disconnect it.
-Take off the egg-rack and rinse the eggs with
cold water and let them cool down.
- If you use your appliance several times let it
cool down between each use.
