SUGGESTIONS FOR FOOD
PREPARATION USING YOUR BLENDER
DRINKS
Your blender is ideal for mixing drinks. Place the
drink ingredients in the blender goblet (at least
1⁄4 full). Please note that you must leave enough
room in the blender goblet for foam to form.
SOUPS, SAUCES, PURÉES
A blender is ideal for making soups, sauces and
purées. The more liquid there is in the goblet the
greater the quantity produced at a time.
If you use “dry” foods, such as boiled
vegetables, fill to just cover the blade and stop
part way through blending to scrape the food
from the blades and sides using a plastic
spatula, before adding more ingredients and
continuing.
MAYONNAISE
Place egg yolks, mustard and wine vinegar in the
blender. Start at the lowest speed and blend for
5 seconds. While the blender is going, pour in
the oil very slowly and carefully in a thin stream
through the filling hole in the lid.
Blend until the mayonnaise reaches the right
consistency.
BATTER (FOR PANCAKES ETC)
First put the liquid ingredients into the blender
goblet, then the “dry” ingredients. Blend at
speed 1 or 2 until the “dry” ingredients have
been assimilated into the liquid.
NB!
To blend larger ingredients such as nutmeg,
choose the pulse function to break them up into
smaller pieces, and then set the blender to
speed 2 until a satisfactory result is achieved.
CLEANING
Wipe the blender goblet and motor section with
a hot damp cloth, and then wipe again using a
dry cloth.
For more thorough cleaning: remove the blender
goblet from the motor section. Wash the
individual parts in hot soapy water.
After drying, attach the goblet to the motor
section again.
NB! The blade is extremely sharp.
We do not recommend washing any of the parts
in a dishwasher
