Function symbols on the display
Cooking with heat from below
1. Press “Function” and turn the dial until you see the symbol for bottom heat (see
diagram above).
2. Press “Temp” (b) and turn the dial to the desired temperature.
o You can set the temperature between 70 and 235ºC.
3. Press “Time” and turn the dial to the desired cooking time.
o The minimum time is 1 minute and the maximum is 2 hours.
4. Press “Select/Start/Stop” to start the appliance.
o The symbol and the temperature begin ashing to indicate that the appliance
is being preheated. Once the set temperature has been reached, you will
hear 2 beeps and the timer starts counting down.
Cooking with heat from above and below
1. Press the “Function” button and turn the set button until the symbol for heat
from above and below is displayed (see the table above). It is a set non-
adjustable temperature.
2. Press the “Time” button and turn the set button to the required programme.
o A programme number between 1 and 6 can be selected, where 1
corresponds to 3 minutes and 6 corresponds to 8 minutes.
3. Press the “Select/Start/Stop” button to commence cooking.
Convection cooking
1. Press the “Function” button and turn the set button until the symbol for
convection heat is displayed (see the table above).
2. Press the “Temp” button and turn the set button to the required temperature.
o Standard setting is 175 ºC, temperature may be selected between 70 and
235 ºC.
3. Press the “Time” button and turn the set button to the required cooking time.
o Minimum selection is 1 minute and maximum selection is 2 hours.
4. Press the “Select/Start/Stop” button to commence cooking.
o The symbol and the temperature begin to ash indicating that the oven is
preheating. When the set temperature is reached, two beeps sound and the
time begins to count down.
Caution! Convection ovens are more efcient than normal ovens. If you use the
convection
function, the cooking time will most likely be shorter than in a normal
oven.
Defrost function
1. Press the “Function” button and turn the set button until the symbol for
defrosting is displayed (see the table above). It is a set non-adjustable
temperature.
2. Press the “Time” button and turn the set button to the required cooking time.
o Minimum selection is 1 minute and maximum selection is 2 hours.
3. Press the “Select/Start/Stop” button to commence cooking.
Pizza programme
1. Press the “Function” button and turn the set button until the symbol for the
pizza programme is displayed (see the table above).
2. Press the “Temp” button and turn the set button to the required temperature.
o Standard setting is 235 ºC, temperature may be selected between 70 and
235 ºC.
3. Press the “Time” button and turn the set button to the required cooking time.
o Minimum selection is 1 minute and maximum selection is 2 hours.
4. Press the “Select/Start/Stop” button to commence cooking.
o The symbol and the temperature begin to ash indicating that the oven is
preheating. When the set temperature is reached, two beeps sound and the
time begins to count down.
CHILD SAFETY LOCK
The child safety lock prevents small children from using the appliance. The
appliance cannot be operated as long as the child safety lock is active. To activate
the child safety lock, press and hold the "Select/Start/Stop" button for 3 seconds.
One beep will be heard, and the display shows a lock symbol. To deactivate the
child safety lock again, press and hold the "Select/Start/Stop" button for 3 seconds.
The symbol will then disappear from the display.
CLEANING
When cleaning the appliance, you should pay attention to the following points:
Remove the plug from the wall socket and allow the appliance to cool down
before cleaning.
Clean the appliance by wiping it with a damp cloth. A little detergent can be
added if the appliance is heavily soiled.
Never use a scouring pad, steel wool or any form of strong solvents or abrasive
cleaning agents to clean the appliance, as those may damage the outside
surfaces of the appliance.
Make sure that no water gets into the vent holes.
Remove the crumb tray, dust it free of crumbs and wash it in warm water with
detergent.
The baking tray and grille can also be washed in water and detergent.
Cleaning of the heating elements inside the oven
Start by cleaning the oven compartment and the heating elements with a tightly
wrung cloth that has been soaked in water with detergent.
Then set the grill at highest setting in order to burn off grease and spillage.
Turn off the oven once the heating element is no longer smoking, and leave it to
cool off completely.
Wipe the oven compartment once more to remove burned remnants.
