PRIOR TO FIRST USE
Read the safety instructions through
carefully.
Unroll the coffee maker cord fully before
using it.
•To rinse out the inside of the coffee
maker, fill the reservoir with water and run
it through the machine before using it to
make coffee.
SETTING THE CLOCK
Switch the coffee maker on at the socket.
The time 12:00 will flash in the display on
the control panel (5).
•Press the HOUR button to set the hour
and the MIN button to set the minutes.
Keep the buttons depressed for rapid
number changing.
If the power is switched off, the clock
must be reset.
USE
•Lift the cover (1) of the water reservoir (2),
and carefully pour in the required quantity
of water. Close the cover.
Place a filter (size 1 x 4) in the filter funnel
(3), and put coffee or tea in it.
•Ensure that the cover for the glass pot (4)
is down and then place it on the hotplate
(6) beneath the filter funnel.
Switch on the coffee maker by pressing
the large grey on/off button on the
bottom right corner of the control panel
twice so that the ON indicator light
shows red. The coffee maker will start.
•You can remove the glass pot during
brewing to pour a cup. The automatic
drip stop function ensures that coffee
does not drip from the filter onto the
hotplate. As soon as you replace the
glass pot brewing will resume.
•Once the coffee is ready, the hotplate
under the glass pot will keep the coffee
or tea hot.
The coffee maker switches off
automatically approximately 2 hours after
brewing is complete. You can switch the
coffee maker off manually by pressing the
on/off button.
USING THE TIMER FUNCTION
The clock must be set (see section
“Setting the clock”) to allow you to use
the timer function.
Fill the coffee maker with the required
amount of water and coffee/tea, as
described in the “Use” section. Place the
glass pot on the hotplate.
Hold the TIMER button on the control
panel in, and set the time the coffee
maker is to start by pressing the HOUR
and MIN buttons (as described in the
section entitled “Setting the clock”).
