GENERAL USE:
- Place the tray for collecting fat in the front opening
- Connect the grill to a 230V supply, and switch on the wall socket. The red
and green indicator lights will now come on.
- Select the required temperature using the thermostat button
-L = Low Low temperature
-M = Medium Medium temperature
-H = High High temperature
- Close the lid of the grill while it heats up. Once the green light goes out, the
grill has reached the required temperature .
- Open the lid and place the food you wish to grill on the grilling surface.
Carefully close the lid again.
- Grilling takes 8-10 minutes depending on the thickness of the food being
grilled.
- Open the lid and remove the cooked food using a wooden spatula or similar.
Do not use metal utensils, as there is a risk that they will damage the surface
of the grill plates.
- When you are not grilling anything, keep the grill closed.
- If you want to stop grilling, turn the thermostat to OFF and remove the plug
from the wall socket.
CLEANING:
- Remove the plug from the wall socket and allow the grill to cool.
- Use a piece of kitchen roll or a damp cloth to wipe the hot plates. If
necessary, use a damp sponge for cleaning.
- If any food residues remain on the hot plates, these can be loosened using a
small amount of cooking oil. Leave the oil for 5 minutes, and then wipe the
hot plates with a piece of kitchen roll. The grill must be completely cool
before you attempt this procedure.
- Do NOT use any form of strong, solvent or abrasive cleaning agent. Do NOT
use metal utensils or scrubbing pads for cleaning.
ENVIRONMENTAL TIPS
An electrical product should be disposed of with the least possible environmental
impact when it is no longer functional. The equipment should be disposed of in
accordance with the rules of your local council, but in most cases you can
dispose of such products at your local recycling centre.
