INFORMATION ON DISPOSAL
AND RECYCLING OF THIS
PRODUCT
Electrical and electronic equipment (EEE)
contains materials, components and other
matter that could be dangerous and harmful to
human health and the environment if electrical
and electronic waste (WEEE) is not properly
disposed of. Products marked with a ‘crossed
out
waste bin’ ( ), are electrical and electronic
equipment. The crossed out waste bin
symbolises that electrical and electronic
waste must not be disposed of together with
household waste, but should be separately
disposed of.
For this purpose, all local authorities have
established refuse arrangements where
electrical and electronic waste can be handed
in at recycling points or other refuse collection
points free of charge, or collected directly from
the households. For further information, contact
your local technical administration. Users of
electrical and electronic equipment must not
dispose of electrical and electronic equipment
together with household refuse. Users must
use the local, public refuse arrangements in
order to minimise the environmental hazards
in connection with disposal of electrical and
electronic waste and increase the opportunities
for reuse, recycling and recovery of electrical
and electronic waste.
