IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should
a l w ays be fo l l owed, including:
• Read all instructions before using appliance.
• To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not immerse cord,
plug or appliance in water or other liquid. See instructions fo r
c l e a n i n g .
• This appliance is not for use by children.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used near
c h i l d r e n .
• Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off
p a rt s, and before cleaning.
• To disconnect, press OFF button, then remove plug from wa l l
o u t l e t .
• Do not touch moving part s .
• Do not operate any damaged appliance. Do not operate with a
damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or has
been dropped or damaged in any manner. Contact Consumer
S e rvice for return authorization, examination, repair, electrical or
mechanical adjustment.
• The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the
manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock or injury.
• Do not use outdoors or while standing in a damp area.
• Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot
s u r fa c e s .
• Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric bu rn e r, or in a heated
ove n .
• C h e ck chamber for presence of foreign objects before using.
• Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
S AVE THESE INSTRU C T I O N S
C AU T I O N : A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the ri s k
of personal injury resulting from becoming entangled in or tri p p i n g
over a longer cord. Extension cords are ava i l a ble from local hardwa r e
stores and may be used if care is exercised in their use. If an
extension cord is required, special care and caution is necessary.A l s o
the cord must be: (1) marked with an electrical rating of 125V, and at
least 10A, 1250W, and (2) the cord must be arranged so that it will not
d r ape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by
children or tripped over accidentally.
