1.Removetheplugfromthewallsocketandlet
theappliancecooldowncompletely.Never
pourcoldwaterintothehotpot,sincethis

ofsplashesofhotwater.
2.Removeanystubbornfoodresiduesby
allowingthemtosoakinalittlecookingoil
(leavetosoakforabout5minutes).Alterna-
tively,youcanpourashallowlayerofwater
inthepotandthenbringthewatertothe
boil;thiswillloosenany
stubbornfoodresidues.
3.Cleanthepotandtheglasslidwithhot
washing-upsolution.Alwayskeeptheappli-
ance’selectricalcomponentsdry!Makesure
thatnofoodresiduesaccumulate
aroundtheedges.
4.Cleanthethermostatwithadampcloth.
