Important Safety Instruction
Please keep this instruction manual in
a safe place, along with the
warranty card, purchase receipt and
carton for future reference. The safety
precautions enclosed herein reduce
the risk of fire, electric shock and
injury when correctly adhered to.
1. Do not attempt to repair, disassemble
or modify the appliance.
2. If the power cable is damaged, it
must be repaired by an approved
servicecentre to avoid injury.
3. This appliance is not intended for use
by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience
and knowledge, unless they have
been given supervision or instruction
concerning us of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
4. Children should be supervised to
ensure that they do not play
with the appliance.
5. Do not operate this
appliance outdoors.
6. The plug must be removed from wall
socket before cleaning or
moving the appliance.
7. The appliance should be placed on a
flat surface when operating
to avoid overturning.
8. The kettle must only be used with the
base provided.
9. This appliance is intended to be used
in households and
similar environments such as:
– Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices
and other working environments.
– Farm houses.
– By clients in hotels, motels and other
residential type environments.
– Bed and breakfast type
environments.
10. Do not move the kettle while it is
switched on.
Caution
1. Always keep the appliance
away from children.
2. Never overfill the kettle, make sure
the water level is above
the “MIN“ mark but below
the “MAX“ mark.
3. Make sure that the appliance is on a
flat and secure surface before being
switched on.
4. Make sure that all electrical
connections are clean and dry.
5. Make sure the lid is correctly and
securely fitted before switching the
appliance on.
6. Never leave the filter loose
in the kettle.
7. Never remove the filter while the kettle
contains hot water.
8. Never fill the kettle while it is on its
base. If the base unit becomes wet,
unplug it prior to cleaning.
