Disconnect the microwave oven
from the power supply before
cleaning.
Do not use a steam-cleaning
appliance to clean this appliance.
Steam could reach electrical
components and cause a short
circuit.
Housing, oven interior and
inside of the door
,
The oven interior can get hot
during use. To avoid the danger of
being burnt, wait until it has cooled
down before cleaning. It should be
cleaned after each use. Waiting too
long can make cleaning
unnecessarily difficult and in
extreme cases impossible.
In certain circumstances, very
heavy soiling can damage the
appliance and even be dangerous.
Fire hazard.
The housing, oven interior and inside of
the door can be cleaned using a damp
cloth with a little washing-up liquid or a
mild detergent and water. Wipe dry with
a soft cloth.
For more heavy soiling, heat a glass of
water for 2 to 3 minutes until the water
begins to boil. The steam will collect on
the walls and soften the soiling.
The oven interior can now be wiped
clean using a little washing-up liquid if
necessary.
Stainless steel surfaces can be treated
with a conditioner for stainless steel
(available from Miele).
Do not remove the cover to the
microwave outlet inside the oven,
nor the film covering the inside of
the door.
Do not let water or any small
particles penetrate the vents in the
appliance.
Wring out cloths before using them
to wipe out the oven to avoid
moisture getting into the openings.
Do not use abrasive cleaners, as
these scratch the surface.
