Building in the appliance
^ Depending on the thickness of the
appliance housing walls, now push
the appliance into the niche until
– the spacers touch the housing unit
wall a (16 mm thick walls), or
– the front edges of the hinges are
flush with the side walls of the
housing unit b (19 mm thick walls).
^
Align the appliance height on both
sides by altering the adjustable feet
using the spanner supplied c.
^
Make sure that plastic bracket d is
flush with the front edge of the
housing unit.
This will create a gap all round of
42 mm to the front edges of the
housing unit side walls.
This gap must also be maintained in
housing units with recessed floors,
even if it means that plastic bracket d
protrudes from the edge of the housing
unit floor.
On furniture with door fittings: (e.g
stubs, seals etc.)
^ Pull the appliance forwards by
dimension h in order to keep the gap
at 42 mm all round.
The hinges now protrude by dimension
h and plastic bracket d is aligned
parallel with the front edge of the hinge.
If the all round gap of 42 mm is not
maintained between the appliance
casing and the front edge of the
housing unit side wall the door may
not shut properly.
This could lead to a build-up of ice
and condensation and also cause
operational faults.
