USING YOUR OLD FASHIONED HOT DOG ROLLER
First, find a stable surface near an electrical outlet before starting. Roller Assembly must be engaged correctly
to operate properly. (Make sure your cord is away from any water source. If needed, it is acceptable to use an
extension cord.)
INSTRUCTIONS:
The switch on the right of The OLD FASHIONED HOT DOG ROLLER turns on the power. Turn to the ON position.
The red power indicator light should come on. The switch on the left regulates the heating temperature, from
LOW to HIGH, turn on HIGH. Let the unit warm up for 3 minutes or so, then place the hot dogs on the rollers,
evenly spaced. Up to 8 regular sized hot dogs can be cooked at one time.
You will see the hot dogs begin to turn. They will continue to turn at approximately two cycles per minute.
You will notice the color begin to change as they are cooking, they will darken. The hot dogs should be cooked
between 8 to 10 minutes. After they have cooked for 10 minutes, turn the heater knob down to a medium heat
to keep the hot dogs warm and still rotating.
As hot dogs are taken off, they can be replaced with new hot dogs to cook (adjust temperature) if you have the
need for more hot dogs.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Power Light does not Come On Check electrical plug to insure it is fully plugged in
Rollers are not turning Make sure Power Light is On and the unit is properly plugged in.
Turn unit off and on again.
Make sure the end roller pin is correctly engaged in the motor base receptacle.
By following these simple instructions, your OLD FASHIONED HOT DOG ROLLER will be fun for friends, family,
and kids of all ages…by creating a fun display while cooking America’s Favorite – Hot Dogs!
NOTE: To prolong the life of your OLD FASHIONED HOT DOG ROLLER be sure to follow the cleaning instructions
after every use and make sure the roller assembly is fitted properly in the base unit – DO NOT force it or it will strip the
fitting and the rollers will not be able to be controlled for proper rotating. Never use anything abrasive on the base to
maintain the original finish.
IMPORTANT
Notice the shape of the receptacle in the base and the end pin on the roller assembly. They are fitted to work
together. DO NOT force the pin into the receptacle or it will strip and then cannot control the roller turning action.
CLEANING
Make sure unit is unplugged before cleaning. Allow parts to COOL to the touch. Roller assembly, drip tray.
Before first use and continuing after each use, be sure to wipe off the roller assembly with a damp cloth
and dry thoroughly. When necessary for more concentrated cleaning, wash in warm soapy water, rinse, and
dry thoroughly. To prolong the life of your HOT DOG ROLLER we suggest hand-washing parts to be cleaned.
Dishwasher use is discretionary.
