Question Answer
Why doesn’t the power-on light
go on?
There may be a connection problem. Check the mains cord.
Why does water ow out of the
steriliser?
You may have poured too much water in the steriliser. Do not
pour more than 90ml water in the water reservoir.
Why is the water reservoir
empty before the sterilising
process is nished?
You may have poured too little water in the steriliser. Always
pour 90ml water in the water reservoir.
Why are there white spots in the
water reservoir, the bottles, the
container, the baskets or in the
lid?
These white spots are scale. Scale build-up is quite normal and
will be worst if the water you use is very hard. Descale the
appliance regularly (see chapter ‘Descaling’).
Why does a lot of steam escape
from under the lid?
The baskets and/or the items to be sterilised have been put in
the container in the wrong way. Fill the container properly and
place the lid properly on the container (see chapter ‘Using the
appliance’).
The lid may not have been placed properly. Put the lid
properly onto the container.
