Defrosting
When the refrigerator has been in operation for a period of time, the inner surface of the
ice box may become covered with a layer of white frost. This will raise the electrical
consumption and lessen the effect of refrigeration; therefore you will need to defrost the
appliance.
1.Remove the mains plug, open the doors and remove all food and shelves. Frozen foods
needs to be well insulated using newspaper or blankets.
2.Either let the temperature rise naturally till frost melts or a container of warm water can
be place inside the unit to speed up the process.
3.Wipe away all ice and water before washing with a cloth dampened with water and a
mild detergent.
4.Wipe dry before plugging in to the mains.
Never use sharp metal tools as it may damage the appliance.
