TROUBLE SHOOTING
If the unit malfunctions, check out the following before calling for service.
Malfunction Check/Remedy
The chamber is not cooled
at all
ឺ The circuit breaker of power source is active.
ឺ The voltage is too low (In this case, call an electrician).
ឺ The power is not supplied.
ឺ The breaker is free.
ឺ The large amount of articles (load) is stored in the chamber at one
time.
The cooling is poor
ឺ The ambient temperature is too high.
ឺ The latch of inner door is not closed completely. The outer door
is not closed firmly. (The frost or ice between the cabinet and door
gasket possibly prevents door seal.)
ឺ The air intake vent is blocked.
ឺ The condenser filter is clogged. Always clean the filter when the
filter check lamp is lit.
ឺ The door is not shut tightly.
ឺ The inner door is not installed correctly.
ឺ The set temperature in the controller is not set properly.
ឺ The freezer is in the direct sunlight.
ឺ There is any heating source near the freezer.
ឺ A rubber cap and insulation are not set correctly.
ឺ You put too many unfrozen articles into the chamber.
Alarm test key cannot
actuate the alarm
ឺ The alarm is activated only when the power switch is ON.
ឺ When only the buzzer or only the alarm is actuated by the alarm test
key, the unactuated part is out of order, and must be replaced.

above table, contact Sanyo sales representative or agent.
