Using your electric kettle
Filter removal / cleaning / refitting
Important: The kettle must be switched off, disconnected from
the power outlet and allowed to cool down completely prior to
removing or refitting the filter. Do not use excessive force, as
this might damage the filter or the lid.
1. Empty the kettle and open lid.
2. Hold lid open with one hand and grip the top part of the filter
with index finger and thumb. Caution: Keep fingers clear of
mesh. Pressing into mesh may damage filter.
3. To remove filter simply pull upwards. This will disengage the
filter from its guides (see illustration).
4. To clean the filter, rinse under a tap while brushing it gently
with a soft brush.
5. To refit filter, once again hold lid open with one hand and filter
with index finger and thumb. Gently push filter back into the
kettle until it fits snugly in its guides. Be sure to fit the bottom
lip of the filter snugly in the center guide. This will center the
filter in the spout, ensuring a good fit.
6. Rinse out kettle with fresh water and it’s ready for use.

Extracción / Limpieza / Reinstalación del Filtro
Importante: El hervidor de agua se debe apagar, desconectar del
tomacorriente y dejar a enfriar totalmente antes de quitar o de
reinstalar el filtro. No use fuerza excesiva, pues esto puede dañar
el filtro o la tapa.
1. Vacíe el hervidor de agua y quite la tapa.
2. Con una mano mantenga la tapa abierta y sostenga la parte
superior del filtro con el dedo índice y el pulgar.
Advertencia: Mantenga los dedos alejados de la malla.
Presionar la malla podría dañar el filtro.
3. Para retirar el filtro sencillamente hale hacia arriba. De esta
manera se soltará el filtro de sus guías (véase ilustración).
4. Para limpiar el filtro, enjuague debajo de agua corriente
mientras lo cepilla suavemente con un cepillo suave.
5. Para colocar el filtro de nuevo, mantenga la tapa abierta con
una mano y el filtro entre el dedo índice y el pulgar. Empuje el
filtro suavemente en el hervidor hasta que se ajuste en sus guías.
Asegúrese de que la pestaña inferior del filtro se ajuste en la
guía del centro. De esta manera se centrará el filtro con el pico
del hervidor. Asegurándose de que quede bien ajustado.
6. Enjuague el hervidor de agua con agua fresca y estará listo
para usar.
