If something doesn't work
Before calling the Technical Service, please check the following possible causes
and solutions:
Problem Possible cause Solution
The cookware sticks to the glass
The cooker doesn't work
The power cable is not
connected.
The voltage does not reach
the plug.
Connect the cable
to the mains.
Check and repair the
power mains.
Something has melted bet-
ween the cookware and the
glass.
Cookware with abrasive
bases.
Set the heating element at full
power and try to unstuck it.
Check the bases of the
cookware and don't slide
them across the glass.
Message ER21 on the control panel and subsequent disconnection
If the temperature of the con-
trol electronics gets too high
while cooking, it will discon-
nect to prevent damage.
Excess temperature problems
during cooking only occur in
extreme situations (an exten-
ded period of time cooking at
maximum power).
Let the hob cool down for a
few minutes. If the problem
persists, check that insta-
llation was performed in
compliance with the ins-
tructions in this manual.
FOR ALL MODELS:
Message U400 and beeping sound
Power surges in the power
mains.
Contact your electricity
company.
There is some object or
liquid on the touch control
panel.
Remove the object or liquid
covering the touch control
panel.
Message ER21 on the control panel and beeping sound.
Disconnection of the control panel.
