CAUTION: NEVER OPERATE THE UNIT IN A TILTED POSITION, OR IF THE
HEATING ELEMENT IS NOT PROPERLY RESTING IN PLACE.
Plug the unit into electrical wall outlet. To operate either burner, adjust
the Variable Temperature Control to the desired heat setting. The
Variable Temperature Control on the right side operates the right
burner, and the control on the left side operates the left burner.
The Power Indicator Light will illuminate and remain lit until the selected
temperature has been reached. The light will then cycle on and off until
temperature is turned off.
For best results: Turn on the heating element for approximately 1 minute
before placing a pot or pan on it.
When finished, turn the Variable Temperature Control to the “OFF”
position.
WARNING: BE SURE TO TURN HEATING ELEMENT OFF COMPLETELY
AND UNPLUG AFTER EACH USE. NEVER LEAVE PLUGGED IN WHILE IT IS
NOT IN USE.
FOR BEST RESULTS
It is recommended to use pots or pans that are essentially the same size
as the heating element. A pot or pan should always be placed on the cen-
ter of the heating element.
NOTE: When using both burners at the same time, try not to use pots or
pans that are bigger than the burners. This will ensure that both burners can
distribute their heat properly.
The buffet range works similarly to a stovetop element and features a
full range of heating options. Use the burner on the left (1000 watts)
for quick heating tasks such as boiling water. Use the burner on the
right (500 watts) for slow cooking or heating precooked foods.
ALWAYS TURN HEATING ELEMENT OFF AND UNPLUG WHEN NOT IN USE.
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
TO CLEAN: Turn the buffet range completely off and allow to cool
completely before cleaning.
CAUTION: NEVER IMMERSE THIS PRODUCT IN WATER OR ANY OTHER
LIQUID. NEVER USE STEEL WOOL OR ABRASIVE CLEANERS, AS THEY
MAY SCRATCH THE SURFACES OR DAMAGE THE UNIT.
The Base Unit, Heating Elements and Drip Pans may be wiped with a damp
soft cloth or sponge. The Drip Pan may be reached by lifting and tilting the
Heating Elements. A mild dishwashing soap may be used to remove food
spills on the Base Unit and the Drip Pans. Any soap residue should be
wiped clean with a damp cloth or sponge.
