with a plastic mesh puff or pad. For best results, use only products with
directions stating that it is safe for cleaning non-stick surfaces.

and a soft, damp cloth, dry thoroughly.
◆ When finished cleaning, close grids, latch and wrap cord around
the Cord Wrap. Stand on end for storage.
Using Your Waffle Baker
CAUTION: Never place any part of appliance in water or other liquids.
1. Before using your waffle baker for the first time, wipe the grids
with a damp cloth to remove all dust and dry. Follow instructions
for CONDITIONING GRIDS.
2. Unwrap the cord completely from unit, close lid and plug into
120 V ~ 60 Hz outlet. The red power light will come on and stay on
during use. The green light will come on indicating that the unit is
heating (for models TWB2WREG and TWB2WREGCAN). Allow to
preheat approximately 5 minutes. For model TWB2REGT, the green
light will come on when unit is preheated. The green light will continue
to come on and go off during use. Initially, some smoking may occur.
This is normal for newly manufactured appliances and will not
occur after the first few uses. When preheated, the green light will
turn off (for models TWB2WREG and TWB2WREGCAN). The
grids are ready to use.
CAUTION: Appliance surfaces are hot during use.
3. Raise lid and carefully pour approximately
1
⁄
2
cup of batter evenly
onto lower grid. Close the lid; do not latch. The green light will
cycle on and off while maintaining proper cooking temperatures.
The amount of batter required may vary with recipe or brand of
mix. Any waffle recipe or mix may be used. While cooking, the red
power on light will be on.
4. Allow waffle to bake for 2-4 minutes. The exact baking time will be
a matter of recipe, taste, and your preference for browning.
5. Gently lift the lid to check for brownness. If lid shows resistance to
lifting, the waffle may not be quite done. Close lid and watch for
steaming to stop before checking again. Remove waffle when
browned using a plastic spatula. If a second waffle is desired, pour
batter immediately and close lid.
6. When finished baking, unplug from the wall outlet and allow to
cool before cleaning. See CARE AND CLEANING.
