CONNECTION
C onne ct the co ld wate r supply hose to a thre aded 3/4 (inch ) connect or and mak e su re
t hat it is f astened tightly in pl ace.
I f the w ater pipes are n ew o r have n ot been used f or an e xtended pe riod of time , let the
w ater run to m ake sure that the wat er is clear. Thi s precaut ion i s need ed to avoi d the
r isk o f the water inlet t o be blocked and d amage the a pplian ce.
Th e water supp ly to the applianc e ca n also b e connec ted to th e house hold hot water
line (such a s, c entra l system, heatin g system ),as lon g as it does no t exceed a
temper ature of 60 C. In this case, the w ash c ycle tim e will be s hort ene d by abo ut 15
minute sandthe wash efficiency slightly reduced.
Th e co nnecti on must be made to the hot wate r line fo llowi ng the s ame proce dures as
described in the sec tion for the connection to the cold water line.
WARNING!
Improper connection of the equipment earthing conducto r can result in the risk of an electric shock.
Check with a quali fied electrician or servi ce representa tive if you are in doubt whether t he
appliance is properly earthed.
Do not modify the plug provide d with the appliance. If the plug does not fit properly to the outlet,
please have a qualified electrician to in stall a proper outlet.
In order to avoid that there is more water staying in the inlet hose, please close
the h ydrant after u sing.(Not applicable to appliances w ithout aqua-stop.)

Positioning the Appliance
How to Drain Excess Water From Hoses
If th e sink is 100 0 higher from the floor, the exces s water i n hoses cannot b e draine d di re ctly
into the sink. It will b enecessary to drain excess water from hoses into a bowl or suitable
conta iner that is held ou tside and lower than the sink.
Water Outlet
Connectthe water drain hose. Thedrain hose must becorrectlyfitted to av oid water leaks.
En sure that the wat er in let hose is not ki nked or s quashed .
Syphon Connection
Th e was te c onnecti on must be at a heigh t of betw een 50 c m (mini mum ) and 10 0 cm (maximum )
fromthe bottom of the dish. The water drain hose should be fixed by a hose clip.
Extension Hose
If you n eed a drain h ose extensi on, make sure t o use a simi la r dra in hose.
It m ust be no lon ger than 4 metre s; o therwise the clea nin g effect o f the di shwash er cou ld be re duce d.
Positi on the ap plianc e in the desi red location. The back sh ould rest against the wall behind i t, an d the sid es,
along the adjacent c abinets o r walls. The dish was her i s equipp ed with water supply and drai n hoses that can
be positioned either to the right or the left sides to facilitate proper installation.
