Water temperature is
If needed, turn home water heater up to
too low
ensure water entering dishwasher is 120°F
(49°C) minimum. See recommended
procedure on page 12.
Use of incorrect, too
Use recommended dishwasher detergents
little or ineffective
only. Follow recommendations on pages 9
detergent
and 10 for amounts; never use less than
one tablespoon per load. Detergent must bc
fresh to be effective. Always store deterged
in a cool, dry area, preferably in an airtight
container.
Detergent cakes in Use fresh detergent only. Do not allow
dispenser
detergent to sit for several hours in a wet
dispenser. Check dispenser for caked
detergent. Clean dispenser when caked
detergent is present.
Pump or spray arm
Remove labels before washing or wash by
clogged by labels
hand. See page 13. Clean filter screen. See
from bottles and cans page 17.
Low water pressure Home water pressure should be 20 to 120
due to insufficient fill psi for proper dishwasher fill. A booster
pump on the water supply may be neces-
sary if pressure is too low.
Slowdown of wash Never use soap or laundry detergents. Use
arm due to high suds recommended dishwasher detergents only.
Hard water or high Conditioning the final rinse water with a
mineral content in
liquid rinse agent helps eliminate spotting
water
and filming. Keep the dispenser filled
with a rinse agent at all times.
