HOW TO CLEAN
n Wipe off regularly when range is cool.
w Do not allow food containing acids (such as
vinegar, tomato, lemon juice or milk) to remain
on surface. Acids may remove the glossy finish.
n Do not use abrasive or harsh cleansers.
m Wash with other cooking utensils.
. Dry completely.
IDO not place in Self-Cleaning Oven.
. Remove the cooktop (see page 9).
I Wipe off spills immediately after burner has
cooled.
For cooked-on food:
1 Remove burner from manifold with phillips screw-
driver.
1 Wash with warm, soapy water and a plastic
scouring pad.
. Rinse and dry well.
1 If ports are clogged, clean with a straight pin. Do
not enlarge or distort ports. Do not use a wooden
toothpick.
1 Do not clean surface burner in dishwasher.
1 Wash, rinse and dry well.
. Do not soak.
1 Wash, rinse and dry well.
n Follow directions provided with cleaner.
1 Clean after each use.
9 Wash, rinse and dry well.
1 Do not clean in the Self-Cleaning Oven. (See note
on page 10.)
. Leave in oven during Self-Cleaning cycle.
n Wash, rinse and dry well. Use soapy steel wool
pads for heavily-soiled areas.
NOTE: The oven racks will discolor and be harder to
slide when left in the oven during the Self-Cleaning
cycle. If you want them to stay shiny, remove from the
oven and clean by hand. If racks are left in the oven
during the Self-Cleaning cycle, apply a small amount
of vegetable oil to the sides of the racks to make them
easier to slide.
m Make sure oven is cool.
m Follow directions provided with the cleaner.
n Wash, rinse and dry well.
n Follow directions starting on page 10, “Using the
Self-Cleaning cycle.”
a Do not use commercial oven cleaners.
