If your electric power line
or outlet voltage is less
than normal 120 volts,
cooking times may be
longer.
To test a dish for safe use, put it
into the oven with a cup of
water beside It. Cook on HIGH
Cook Power for one mlnute. If
the dlsh gets hot and water
stays cool, do not use lt. Some
dishes (melamlne, Centura,@
etc.) absorb mlcrowave energy,
becoming too hot to handle
and slowing cooking times.

Before caWng for assistance...
Performance problems often result from little
things you can flnd and flx yourself wlthout tools
of any klnd.
If nothlng operates:
l Is the oven correctly wlred into a live clrcult
wlfh the proper voltage? See the Installation
Insfructtons.
If the Display shows a time counting down but
the oven Is not cooklng:
l Is the oven door closed completely?
l Have you set the controls as a kttchen tlmefl
l Is the oven in standlng time between QUICK
DEFROST and COOK or AUTO START?
l Have you checked your home’s maln fuses or
clrcult breaker box?
l Have you checked the electric company for
a power failure?
If the mlcrowave oven will not fun:
l Is the oven belng used as a timer?
l Is the door firmly closed and latched?
. Dld you touch START?
l Dld you follow the dlrectlons exactly?
If you do not hear a programmlng tone
Wvite 61:
l Is the command correct?
l Has the tone been cancelled?
If the fan seems to be runnlng slower than
usual:
l Has the oven been stored in a cold area? The
fan will run slower until the oven warms up to
normal room temperature.
If the mlcrowave cooklng times seem too
long:
l Is the electric supply to your home or wall out-
let low or lower than normal? Your electric
company can tell you if the line voltage Is low
Your electrlclan or service technician can tell
you If the outlet voltage is low
l Is the Cook Power at the recommended
sefflng?
l Are you allowing for more time when cooking
more food at one time?
If there has been a power Interruptlon, the
Display will show 88:88. Reset the clock,
