Water Quality Monitor/Performance Indicator:
A monitor is used to track the number of gallons that flows through the filtration system. The monitor is
preset at the factory to indicate when it is time to change the filters. When the water is flowing, either the
green good light will illuminate indicating less than the rated gallon count or the yellow fair light will
illuminate indicating the rated gallon count has been exceeded. The red light will illuminate during water
flow if a year has passed since previous filter change or the gallon count has been exceeded. The monitor
should be reset each time the filters are replaced. Two AA batteries, located inside the monitor box at the
filter outlet, supply power to the monitor. Reset the monitor by removing the batteries, then putting them
back in. Replace batteries yearly or at filter change to ensure uninterrupted monitoring. Two AA batteries
are included with each replacement filter A.
