3. TO SET THE OVEN TIMER CONTROL
TO SWITCH ON AND OFF
AUTOMATICALLY
A) TO SWITCH ON AND OFF AUTOMATICALLY
i) Ensure time of day is set
ii) Place food in the oven
iii) Set the length of cooking time by pressing ( )
button and then ( + ) button until the length of
cooking time is displayed e.g. 2 hrs 15 mins.
(Fig.6).
iv) The auto symbol and the cookpot symbol will
glow. The display then reverts back to the time
of day after a few seconds (Fig.7).
v) To set the stop time press the ( ) button, this
shows 12.23 as being the earliest possible end
time.
Press the ( + ) button until the required stop
time is displayed e.g. 12.30 (Fig.8).
vi) After a few seconds the time of day will show in
the display. (Fig.9)
vii) Set the oven control to the required temperature
and select the correct multifunction mode. The
oven neon indicator light should be OFF and
the AUTO display will glow.
NOTE
When the automatic timed period starts the oven
neon indicator will turn ON and OFF during cooking.
B) TO SET THE TIMER TO SWITCH OFF ONLY
i) Ensure the time of day is displayed.
ii) Place the food in the oven.
iii) Set the length of cooking time by pressing ( )
button and then ( + ) button until the length of
cooking time is displayed e.g. 2 hrs 15 mins.
(Fig.10).
The auto symbol and the cookpot symbol will
glow, the display then reverts back to the time
of day after 5 seconds.
iv) Set the oven control to the required temperature
and select the correct multifunction mode. The
oven neon indicator will light.
v) To check the stop time during cooking press the
( ) button and the stop time will be displayed.
4. RETURNING THE COOKER BACK TO
MANUAL OR TO CANCEL A AUTO-
MATIC PROGRAMME
At the end of a auto period, the oven will switch off,
an audible sound will be heard and the auto symbol
will flash in the display.
Press ( ) button and the auto display will go out
and the cooking symbol will light (Fig.11).
Turn the oven control and selector ON to check that
the oven operates manually.
The oven neon indicator light will glow. Turn all the
oven controls OFF.
No neon indicators should be illuminated.
