J-Series’ hydrostatic-drive system goes beyond
the limits of other dozers, delivering infinite speed
control, power management, and full power turns.
With conventional torque-converter transmission
and clutch/brake or differential steering systems,
other dozers just don’t deliver the same operating
ease. But hydrostatic drive isn’t the only thing
that enables the 950J and 1050J to exceed the
others. Their traditional oval undercarriage design
also incorporates several features that help them
deliver long life and a smooth, productive ride.
