Remove capsule holder
and place hexagonal key
(supplied with machine)
onto the capsule cage.
Hold key in place.

1 PreParation
The machine must be off and cold. Remove water tank and drip tray.
To unscrew capsule cage:
place capsule holder onto
hexagonal key and turn
capsule holder handle to the
left to release capsule cage.
Dissolve cleaning
agent in 0,5 litres
of hot water.
Soak capsule holder
in solution and leave
for 10 minutes. Rinse
thoroughly and dry.
Dissolve desca-
ling liquid in 0.5
litres of water.
Place a container
(min. 0.6 litres)
under coff ee
outlet.
3 Descaling the Machine 4 rinse
Manual: Switch machine on and
turn the lever on the machine
to the cup position. Allow entire
solution to run through coff ee
outlet.

Automatic: Switch machine on and
press the large cup button. Repeat
continuously until the water tank
is empty.
Pour used soluti-
on back into the
water tank and
repeat step 3.2.
Manual: Rinse by turning the le-
ver on the machine to the cup
position, and allowing a tank
full of water to run through the
coff ee outlet.

Automatic: To rinse, press the
large cup button. Repeat until
the water tank is empty.
Clean the channel of the capsule
cage and press needle (supplied
with the machine) through the
small pin holes.
5 cleaning the caPsule cage
Blow hard through
capsule cage in the
arrowed direction.
Be sure washer ring
is in place and grease
(lubricant supplied in
descaling kit).
6 reasseMBly
Insert capsule cage and
screw it back in place by
hand (anti-clockwise), as
far as it will go.

CAUTION HOT!
Rinse
water tank

fresh water.

Manual or Automatic:

the spring.
Rinse.
Manual or Auto-
matic: Take out
plug, spring and
washer ring.
Gently tighten capsule cage
using hexagonal key, placed
on the capsule holder.
Do not use extensive force!
Read the safety precautions on the descaling package carefully. Avoid contact with eyes, skin,
machine and surrounding surfaces. Never use vinegar to descale as it can damage your machine.
