Handset phonebook
The handset phonebook allows you to make calls
without having to dial manually. You can add 200
names and phone numbers.
Adding entries

{k} i {MENU}
2 {^}/{V}: New Entry i {OK}
3 Enter the party’s name (15 characters max.;
page 22). i {OK}
4 Enter the party’s phone number (24 digits
max.). i {OK} i {i}
Note:
L The number of entries stored in the phonebook
is displayed on the bottom of the handset
display.
Finding and calling a handset

Scrolling through all entries
1 {k}
2 {^}/{V}: Select the desired entry.

Searching by first character
1 {k}
2 Press the dial key ({0} to {9}) which contains
the character you are searching for (page 22).
L Press the same dial key repeatedly to
display the first entry corresponding to each
letter located on that dial key.
3 Press {^} or {V} to scroll through the
phonebook if necessary.

Editing entries

Find the desired entry (page 14). i {MENU}
2 {^}/{V}: Edit i {OK}
3 Edit the name if necessary (15 characters
max.; page 22). i {OK}
4 Edit the phone number if necessary (24 digits

Erasing entries

Find the desired entry (page 14). i {MENU}
2 {^}/{V}: Erase or Erase All i {OK}

Chain dial
This feature allows you to dial phone numbers in
the handset phonebook while you are on a call.
This feature can be used, for example, to dial a
calling card access number or bank account PIN
that you have stored in the handset phonebook,
without having to dial manually.
1 While on a call, press {MENU}.
2 {^}/{V}: Phonebook i {OK}
3 {^}/{V}: Select the desired entry.
4 Press {OK} to dial the number.
Note:
L If you are using this phone in pulse dialling
mode, you may need to press {*} to change
the dialling mode to tone before chain dialling.
When adding entries to the handset phonebook,
we recommend adding {*} to the beginning of
phone numbers you wish to chain dial (page 14).
