2 tbsp. olive oil (can use up to 1/4 cup)
1 onion, chopped fine
1 garlic clove, minced
2 cups medium or long-grain white rice
cups chicken stock (or vegetable stock if vegetarian)
1 tbsp. tomato paste
Pinch oregano
1 tsp. salt
Press the POWER button to turn on the rice cooker. Add rice, olive oil,
onion and garlic to the inner cooking pot. Press the SAUTÉ-THEN-SIMMER
button. The sauté indicator light will illuminate. Using a long-handled
wooden spoon, stir ingredients frequently and allow to sauté for roughly
5 minutes, or until onion is soft. Add remaining ingredients. Sauté-Then-
Simmer™ Technology will then will automatically adjust to simmer to
cook rice. Close the lid securely and allow to cook. Once rice is finished,
the rice cooker will automatically switch to “Keep-Warm” mode. Serves 4
to 6.
Sauté-Then-Simmer™ Spanish Rice
¼ cup yellow onion, diced small
1 large garlic clove, chopped fine
1 tbsp. olive oil
1 cup Arborio rice, uncooked
¼ cup vermouth
4 cups chicken broth
1 cup whipping cream
3 tbsp. butter
cup Parmesan cheese, shredded
Press the POWER button to turn on the rice cooker. Add onion, garlic and
olive oil to inner cooking pot. Press the SAUTÉ-THEN-SIMMER
button. The
sauté indicator light will illuminate. Add rice and mix with a long handled
spoon until well coated. Add vermouth and stir until liquid has been
absorbed. Stir in the chicken broth and whipping cream; mix well and
close the lid securely. Sauté-Then-Simmer™ Technology will then will
automatically adjust to simmer to cook rice. Once the rice cooker
automatically turns to “Keep-Warm,” open tempered glass lid and stir in
butter and Parmesan cheese. Serves 4 to 6.
Sauté-Then-Simmer™ Risotto
2 cucharadas de aceite de oliva
1 cebolla, picada en cubos

2 cucharadas de arroz de grano largo
tazas de consomé de pollo bajo en sodio
1 cucharadas de goma de tomate
- Sujetador de orégano

Prenda la arrocera presionando el botón de Poder.
Presione el botón de
SAUTÉ-THEN-SIMMER
(Salteado). La luz del indicador de Salteado se
prenderá. Agregue el arroz, el aceite de oliva, la cebolla y el ajo.
Utilizando una larga cuchara de madera, agite l
os ingredientes para
sobre 5 minutos. Agregue los ingredientes restantes. La arrocera
percibirá el cambio en la temperatura, cambiando automáticamente a
la modalidad de “Cocinando arroz” (Rice Cooking). Cierra la tapa y
permita que esta cocine hasta haber terminado. La arrocera cambiará
automáticamente a la modalidad de “Manténgase caliente”
(Keep-Warm) cuando el arroz haya terminado su cocimiento.
