POWER CORD
– This appliance has a polarized
plug (one blade is wider than
the other). To reduce the risk of
electric shock, this plug will fit in
a polarized outlet only one way.
If the plug does not fit fully in the
outlet, reverse the plug. If it still
does not fit, contact a qualified
electrician. Do not modify the
plug in any way.

INSTALLATION
– Always place the device on a stable,
level surface. It must neither be hot
nor located near a heat source. The
surface must be dry. Always store
the device and the power cord out of
children's reach.
– Make sure that the voltage information
on the type label of the device is
congruent with the mains voltage in
your region. The device must only be
connected to a properly grounded wall
socket with an output of at least 6A (if
you are using a rating controlled plug
(RCD), please ask your electrician for
advice). While the device is in use,
the power socket must be within easy
reach in the event of an emergency.
The manufacturer shall not assume
any liability for accidents resulting from
deficient grounding or the absence of
grounding.
– If the wall socket is not suitable for
the plug of your device, please have it
replaced by a certified electrician.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
POWER CORD
– Subject to compliance with the appli-
cable precautions, it is possible to use
an extension cord.
– If you are using an extension cord,
the electrical nominal values of the
extension cord must at a minimum be
equivalent with those of the device. If
the device is grounded, the extension
cord must be a three-prong grounded
cord. The longer cable must be laid in
such a manner that it does not extend
beyond the edge of a table of work
surface. Also make sure that children
or other individuals will not be able to
pull on it or stumble over it.
BEFORE USING THE HAND MIXER
Clean the hand mixer before its first use.
